Sacramento police are investigating a break-in at a popular bookstore for the third time in a little more than a year.
Officers responded to a break-in at Beers Books on R Street just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Sacramento Police Department said officers located a glass break at the business and filed a report for burglary.
"I've had to replace window panes before they run into the thousands, especially for a commercial quality door. We're talking to our insurance company. Hopefully, the deductible doesn't kill us, but it's a hit every single time," said Andrew Naify the manager for Beers Books.
The business expressed its frustration on Instagram, saying someone threw a rock and kicked in the glass door, but left without taking anything.
Beers Books said it's the third break-in at the business in a little more than 12 months.
The post stated that the door would cost around $2,000 to replace.
